First Steps Needs Volunteers
One quarter of all children are abused in their lifetime.  First Steps of Habersham County needs volunteers to help with their goal of preventing child abuse.  With a focus on prevention, volunteers provide parents of newborns with support, education and referrals to community resources to help diffuse stressful situations that could become abusive.  Volunteering just one day a month can make a difference!  Please call (706) 754-3100 to help.
